This course explores English Literature and its varied elements. Its aim is to equip students with the necessary skills to think critically, make informed decisions, build their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as well as to enhance their appreciation for literature. It seeks to enlighten students by exposing them to the experiences of other people and cultures with whom they can relate and empathize. Also, through the reading of assigned texts students will build their vocabulary, comprehension skills and examine correct examples of sentence structure. Through discussion, they will develop their analytical skills which will further enhance their reasoning ability.
